The best way to visit Traidcraft’s producers is on one of our organised Meet the People Tours. The tours, lasting around two weeks, combine visits to some of Traidcraft’s producers with time to take in the sights, sounds and flavours of the countries we work in.

We are sometimes asked for the addresses of producers by individuals planning to travel overseas. We have given this question careful consideration, in order to get a balance between the needs of visitors and of producers.
Visits to suppliers take up their time, which can lead to disruption of business and potential loss of earnings. It may also lead to extra expenses. Since most of our suppliers sell to other fair trade organisations and other buyers, they may get quite a number of business visitors. For this reason, Traidcraft has decided that we cannot give addresses of producers to potential visitors.
