About the trading companyLaunched in 1979, Traidcraft's trading company has experienced significant growth in recent years and is now the UK's leading fair trade company.
About the charityTraidcraft's charity, Traidcraft Exchange, is the UK's only development charity specialising in making trade work for the poor.
Traidcraft's structureTraidcraft consists of three main organisations bound together by a Deed of Mutual Covenant, which enshrines Traidcraft's Foundation Principles and sets out the basis for mutual co-operation.
Traidcraft's BoardsTraidcraft's trading company and charity work closely wherever possible and share the same senior management team and support services. The two Boards share many of the same members and all their meetings are held jointly.
Traidcraft FoundationThe objective of the Traidcraft Foundation is to relieve poverty in the developing world and, in particular, to ensure that Traidcraft remains focused on its goal of fighting poverty through trade and stays true to its Foundation Principles.
