Africa Appeal 2016
For farmers, securing a daily income from a small farm is hard at the best of times. In Africa, where there is no access to capital, technical support or a decent market, the odds of failure stack up against them.
Add to that the increasing challenge of climate change in one of the most under developed continents, and it becomes almost impossible.
This is the daily challenge faced by thousands of African smallholder farmers trying to grow enough to feed their families.
In addition, post Brexit, our decision to leave the EU will create big changes in global trading patterns, especially with African countries and put further pressure on these businesses.
Our Africa Appeal aims to raise £20,000 so we can continue to give the 39, 980 farmers already on our projects the vital training, tools and knowledge needed to help them yield bigger harvests and improved food security whilst using sustainable practices.
