Traidcraft offers a wide range of fairly traded foods from around the world including your fair trade food essentials:
- teas and coffees
- cereals
- sugars and honeys
- snack bars
- pasta and rice
We also sell a range of sweets and treats such as our delicious fair trade organic continental chocolate.
Crafts, textiles and gifts
For many people, crafts are the essence of fair trade and in the Traidcraft range you'll find a selection of exquisite, handcrafted products from around the world. These include:
- Delicate jewellery from Thailand
- Sumptuous household textiles from India
- Distinctive carvings which capture the essence of African life
Where our products come from
Most of our products come from established overseas suppliers and are sourced on a fair trade basis. Some food products contain ingredients bought in the UK and Europe where a fair trade alternative is not yet available. We are committed to increasing the percentage of goods sourced from overseas.
We also sell some UK-sourced products, mainly paper-based, because we need a mix of products in our range at different prices to compete in the market place. Christmas cards, for example, cannot be imported from our fair trade producers and still be realistically priced. Revenue from sales of these products is put back into our work of fighting poverty through trade.
