Traidcraft fair trade coffee
Our fair trade coffee is sourced from small farmers' co-operatives which are registered with FLO. We supply ground coffee, organic beans and instant coffee.
Traidcraft was one of the companies which set up cafédirect, which was the first Fairtrade product to hit supermarket shelves.
Fair trade hot chocolate
Traidcraft offers fair trade hot chocolate and cocoa products from small scale farmers in the Dominican Republic, Ghana and Malawi.
Fair trade fruit juices
Traidcraft has been working with Gerber Foods since 2000 when we first came into contact with citrus farmers in Cuba, and saw the opportunity to launch a fair trade juice.
The Cuban citrus fruit in Fruit Passion carries the Fairtrade Mark which guarantees farmers a minimum price and an additional premium payment. The premium is used for projects, providing better machinery or irrigation systems or financing other activities, including cultural and recreational facilities.
Traidcraft's role is to visit the farmer co-operatives and people to make good decisions about using the premium in ways that truly benefit the whole community.
Traidcraft also continues to assist Fruit Passion in identifying and working with other producers as they develop new lines.
