Traidcraft's unique structure
Traidcraft's unique structure - a trading company and a development charity working together - gives us a distinctive perspective on how trade can be made to work for the poor.
We work with more than 100 producer groups in over 30 developing countries to provide 450 fair trade food, craft and textile products. We have 120,000 customers and a turnover approaching £20 million.
Traidcraft was instrumental in setting up the Fairtrade Foundation which licenses the Fairtrade Mark to products which meet internationally recognised standards.
What makes us different
Traidcraft is committed to working in new and innovative ways. We have been working in the fair trade area since 1979 and have been influential in changing the way other businesses work.
