Make Poverty History
Traidcraft was among over 500 UK agencies, organisations, trades unions - and a host of celebrities - who joined forces in 2005 in the biggest ever global call to end poverty.

MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY challenged the values, practices and principles of a world where poverty kills 30,000 people every day, and where just 2% of the population own more than 50% of the world's wealth.
The campaign called for decisive action on: trade justice, aid, and the cancellation of poor countries' debts.
Thanks to people like you taking action Make Poverty History had a huge impact. But the work's not over. Find out how you can continue to help make a difference and change lives.
