The Church and individual Christians were among the earliest supporters of fair trade in the UK and without the bedrock of support they have provided, the fair trade movement would not have been able to achieve the growth, profile and impact which it has today.

Their championing of fair trade made, and continues to make, a huge difference to the lives of millions of people who are able to build better lives for themselves, their families and their communities as a result.
