Traidcraft and fair trade in your worship
If you would like ideas on how to incorporate Traidcraft into your own worship, please go to the Church Resources section.
Prayer call and calendar
For those who would like to commit to regular prayer for Traidcraft, and for those who would like to dip into it from time to time, we offer a regularly updated prayer call which focuses on the situation in the UK and abroad.
We also offer a prayer calendar which ensures prayer cover for all areas of our organisation during the course of the year.
Worship at Traidcraft
The working week at Traidcraft starts with a short act of worship involving a small group of staff from a variety of Christian traditions.
We meet as a community of faith and purpose, without hierarchy, taking it in turns to lead the worship in whatever way feels appropriate.
Often, we will offer prayers for aspects of our own work and that of our producer groups and their communities, as well as for more general concerns and issues.
If you would like to feel part of the regular worship here at Traidcraft, then please remember us in your prayers, wherever you are, between 9 and 9.30 every Monday morning.
In addition, we have an annual Carol Service and occasional seminars.
Traidcraft also benefits from the ministry of an industrial chaplain, who regularly visits our Gateshead premises and is available to provide pastoral support to any staff who request it.
