After the event

When it’s over and you’ve had a well earned rest, the final step is to collect in the funds and send them safely to Traidcraft.

Your page will still live and can receive donations until two months after the events, so send a final email round letting everyone know how you got on.

Please let us know that you raised all your funds online. We will send you a thank you letter when your page closes.

All the funds come directly to Traidcraft Exchange’s bank account.

When you have collected in all the donations, please send them to Traidcraft with your sponsor forms. It helps us if you can also include the fundraising form on the back page of the fundraising guide.

Please do not send cash through the post. If you have collected donation in cash, please pay it into your bank account, or take them to a bank and get them to write a cheque.

Gift Aid

Giftaid itPlease encourage your sponsors to fill in their address details on the sponsor form so that, if they are tax payers, we can claim Gift Aid on the donation.

This is worth 28p for every £1 given. For more information, visit our Gift Aid page.

Matched giving

If you company has a scheme, they will normally require the charity to return a form confirming the amount you have raised. We will do this and let you know when we have received the donation, which is normally paid directly into our bank account. If they need a separate receipt, that’s fine too - just let us know.
