Edinburgh Marathon

Run the 2008 Edinburgh Marathon for Traidcraft Exchange and help transform lives in the developing world. The UK’s second biggest marathon, in the beautiful surroundings of Edinburgh, takes place on Sunday 25th May 2008.

How your support helps

Our project in India aims to help cotton farmers to widen their crop base to improve soil fertility and productivity and reduce dependence on cotton alone.

"About five or six years ago I began selling to Agrocel. They were giving a better price than the market. Also they have supported me with my cotton production. I am growing organic cotton. If new technology comes out then the Agrocel field officer will come to advise about it."

How to secure your place with Traidcraft Exchange

1. Register now.
2. We will send you the official entry form.
3. Return a signed copy of the entry form to Traidcraft with £30 to guarantee your place and pledge to raise £500 for our vital development work overseas.
4. We will send you an email to confirm your entry and your fundraising and training pack will follow within 10 working days.

If you have your own place in the run, we'd love you to join our team. Please fill the own place registration form and we will send you a fundraising and training pack.
