Where your money goes
Within Traidcraft, all donations are paid to our development charity, Traidcraft Exchange (registered charity no 1048752).
In the last financial year (2006-2007), Traidcraft Exchange spent 72% of its total expenditure on International Programmes, policy and campaigning work. The pie chart below shows where your money goes. While we are constantly looking at ways of making our fundraising more cost effective, it is important we invest in fundraising to ensure future growth of Traidcraft Exchange’s work. Although we are closely linked, Traidcraft Exchange is not funded by the profits of Traidcraft's trading company. In 2006/7, donations from the public accounted for 60% of our total income, so your generous support is vital in our mission to transform lives. We are also supported by grant making trusts and foundations and other grant making institutions including the EC and the Department for International Development. To support our work, please make a donation. We would like to thank all those who support our valuable work. Overheads, including management and administration costs are allocated in proportion to the number of staff employed within each area.
