Our Traidcraft Speaker Network is really going from strength to strength and now we're spreading the word of Traidcraft to more than 35,000 people every year.
The difference your donation could make
Although closely linked, Traidcraft Exchange is not funded by the profits of Traidcraft plc, as these are re-invested back into the company in order to grow its business and benefit further fair trade producers.
The work of Traidcraft Exchange complements the plc’s trading activities with wider work to help poor producers, both plc suppliers and others, overcome the barriers that prevent them benefiting from trade.
In Tanzania, our Bee Fair project is helping people like Jabiri. We are working with local partners to improve beekeepers' livelihoods through developing links to markets, improving the efficiency of production and quality of the honey, and organising beekeepers to help them trade more effectively.
"This season I have 25 buckets of honey and we harvest twice a year. But it takes 10 buckets of honey to pay for one child at secondary school. My children would not be going to school without money from honey."
