Nhang's story
"Before I joined the co-operative I sold my own products. I sell more things now I have joined the co-operative. My job is just enough to buy rice and food for the children. I don’t earn a lot from weaving. If I can sell more products I can provide for my children and build a better house."
Rapat Thi Nhang is a weaver with the Zen Textile Weaving cooperative in A Luoi, North Central Vietnam. She lives with her husband and three children.
Traidcraft Exchange is working with a local partner to set up a business development programme which will train local experts to provide guidance on how to develop new products, identify customers’ needs and target products towards the right market at the right price.
