In memoriam
In memoriam giving is a positive way to celebrate the life of someone you love, whilst helping Traidcraft Exchange to fight poverty in the developing world.
Making a donation in memory of a friend or relative will help us to continue our vital work allowing more and more poor people to work their own way out of poverty – while remembering your loved one at the same time. People often prefer to ask for donations to charity instead of flowers at a funeral. We can provide information leaflets or Gift Aid forms if you wanted to do this. Jonathan's friends got together to raise money in his memory as Traidcraft was a favourite charity of his. "Jonathan was a great friend and colleague to us all, and following his recent untimely passing away, we would like to dedicate our Coast to Coast challenge to his memory to help a charity that was close to his heart." Ways to donate - Set up a webpage in memory of your friend or relative on Justgiving
This way people can give on line in a tax efficient way and leave a message of condolence. Go to www.justgiving.com for more information. - Send a donation
- Set up a direct debit in memory of a loved one
You can do this so that a donation would come to Traidcraft on their birthday or anniversary of their death (please mark on your donation form that it is in memory of someone). For more information on any of the above ideas for giving in memory of someone please contact us by completing our form.
