Why should I make a will?

Making a will ensures that your estate and belongings go to the people you want it to go to after you die. You will know that your family and loved ones are looked after financially.

It can also be a positive way to continue your charitable support and keep on making a difference to other people's lives.

If you die without leaving a will, the state decides how to split up your money and belongings, which can often be time consuming and upsetting for those left to sort it out. If you have no family and you don't make a will, everything goes to the state.

It is also vital to keep your will up-to-date to ensure that your wishes are fulfilled.
