Traidcraft helps schools to become involved in Fairtrade in a number of ways.

Buying Fairtrade products Through Traidcraft’s youth campaign (See the Flipside) we can deliver Fairtrade products direct to your school for use at events, in the staffroom, common room, tuckshop, canteen and vending machines. If you’re going to order regularly, we offer a discount of 10% on foods and 15% on non-foods.

School resources Traidcraft has a selection of downloadable resources catering for a range of ages and subject areas from Geography to RE, English and global citizenship. There are lesson plans, activities and assembly ideas.

Host a talk Why not invite a Traidcraft speaker to do an assembly or take part in a lesson or activity day on Fairtrade? We have a network of over 500 speakers around the country.

Fairtrade Schools
If you are a member of staff or a pupil and your school wants to take Fairtrade seriously, as well as getting involved with Traidcraft, we would encourage you to convert to a Fairtrade School. You can find out more at www.fairtrade.org.uk/schools.
