How to Organise Your 'Whose Shoes?' activity day
The activities for the event are around the theme of shoes. This is to encourage children and young people to think about what it would be like to walk in the shoes of someone in the developing world.
-
Arrange a date for your ‘Whose Shoes?’ day and make sure all the important people know and can come. -
Look through this fundraising pack and decide which activities suit you best. For more details on inviting a Traidcraft speaker, see page 13 of the leaflet. -
Write a list of everything that needs to be done before and on the big day and decide who will do which jobs. -
Send a press release to your local radio stations and newspapers. -
Have fun and raise as much money as you can. Don’t forget to take lots of photos. -
Count the money and send it to Traidcraft Exchange - along with details of your event and any photos. -
Wait patiently for your thank you letter and certificate.
