We are best known as the UK’s leading fair trade organisation and are engaged in a wide range of trade and development activities across developing countries. We have offices in Gateshead and London, as well as in India, Bangladesh and Kenya.
You will be joining us on a fixed term maternity cover contract, and at an exciting time of development and growth of our fundraising function. This is a pivotal role in this growth and it will be responsible for growing supporter numbers and income by providing a strong supporter retention, renewal and growth direct marketing programme for existing donors and growing support and profile with new audiences and on new channels. This role will be specifically focused on the project management of campaigns, budgets and suppliers.
We are looking for a target driven direct marketer with particular strengths in data analysis and segmentation, alongside campaign and supplier management. Knowledge and understanding of data legislation, including awareness of upcoming GDPR changes would also be required for this role. You do not have to have previous charity experience but an interest in international development issues and a commitment to trade justice would be an advantage.
