What are we up to?
Leading figures in the church and politics will be lending their weight to the Traidcraft presence at Greenbelt this year.
On our panel for a debate about ethics in trade will be:
- The Rt Hon Stephen Timms, Minister of State for Employment and Welfare Reform
- Joel Edwards, the General Director of the Evangelical Alliance
- Malcolm Duncan, leader of Faithworks.
In addition, we'll be running our pub-quiz night and wine tasting, both of which have proved so popular they’ve been included in the festival programme.
Our presence will also be felt outside the Traidcraft tent, as we have supplied the wine for the festival bars and the Sunday communion service.
Also, the Greenbelt organisers have ordered 7,500 Fairtrade cotton T-shirts from Agrocel – which is great news for the organic cotton farmers and their families.
What have we done before?
