Meet the Producers
Bombolulu Workshops was founded in 1969 in Mombasa, Kenya. The project is managed by the Association for the Physicaly Disabled of Kenya (APDK). Bombolulu's mission is to help people with physical disabilities to overcome their limitations and empower them economically. Bombolulu sells products made in four sheltered workshops - jewellery, tailoring, woodcarving and leather. Traidcraft has supported Bombolulu through product development and business training.
