Fairtrade Fortnight 2011
Fairtrade Fortnight 2011 will take place from 28th February until 13th March. More details will be available later in the year, but in the meantime, here's what we did in 2010.
We encouraged people to hold Big Brew events and serve Fairtrade tea and coffee and make donations to make a difference to tea producers' lives.
There were 267 Big Brews reported, where 23,213 cups of Fairtrade tea and coffee were served and £15,018 was raised.
Watch the Traidcraft Tea StoryTraidcraft has been trading tea fairly for three decades. Journey to the tea plantations of Tanzania and India to see the benefits that Fairtrade producers have reaped, see the impact of our development work in India and join the call for the big 5 tea brands to swap to Fairtrade.
Join us and Make It FairWe're working to make every cup of tea in the UK Fairtrade. It's only with your help that we can encourage the big 5 tea brands to make it fair and go Fairtrade. Please join us.
Church materialsThe prayerful and active support of churches and churchgoers across the UK is essential to our work and we're happy to provide these free, downloadable resources to help churches include us in their worship in Fairtrade Fortnight.
