Schools resources for Fairtrade Fortnight
Use our activity and assembly ideas to get your school or youth group involved in Fairtrade Fortnight. These resources look at tea and raise awareness of the issues faced by tea workers in the developing world.
They are an excellent way to promote Community Cohesion and the global dimension.

Holding an event
The theme for Fairtrade Fortnight this year is The Big Swap. Why not hold a Big Brew - a great way for schools to open up to the community and encourage people to swap to Fairtrade.
Find out how to run your Big Brew and how to order everything you need.
It's competition time
The Snack Attack Challenge is a competition for school groups (years 3-13 and equivalent) to design a brand new Fairtrade Snack, its packaging and accompanying marketing campaign.
With links to Business and Enterprise, DT, IT, English and more, the competition will get your creative juices flowing!
Prizes include cash for the school, goody bags, a visit and prizegiving presentation.
Traidcraft also plans to produce a new snack and packaging based on competition entries and to credit on the packaging any school whose entry is used.
