Traidcraft launches Autumn 2007 range

Highlights from the new range include: - A wide range of Christmas items including hand-embroidered and appliquéd cards from producers in Bangladesh and the Philippines.
- Fun children’s gifts, like a 3D round Noah’s Ark jigsaw from Sri Lanka or a colourful animal mobile hand-made from Bangladeshi jute.
- An expanded range of fair trade hampers including the ‘Chocolate Lover’s Set’, specially packaged in a handmade, gold paper box from Nepal and filled with delicious drinking chocolate, milk and plain chocolate and a mug from producers in India.
- The introduction of storage solutions including eye-catching and functional silk-lined, hand-woven, seagrass baskets from Vietnam.
- New designs for our ever-popular selection of fair trade, organic T-shirts and the addition of hooded tops.
- Our widest ever men’s range which now includes polo shirts and T-shirts from Craft Aid in Mauritius and hand crafted sterling silver cufflinks from Peru.
- An array of Gifts for Life, an alternative gift of a donation to Traidcraft’s charity, giving the recipient of the gift the satisfaction of knowing that a donation has been made, which will help transform the lives of people living in poverty.
The 96-page, Autumn 2007 catalogue also features stunning and unusual jewellery from around the world and striking homeware products alongside our usual varied selection of stationery, Christmas cards, clothing, children’s gifts, food products, coffee, teas and wine. As well as bringing you quality goods from around the world, the Traidcraft catalogue features full-page photographs of producers to help make the link with the people behind the products. People like Oanh, from Mai Handicrafts in Vietnam, who is featured on page 62 of the catalogue and says: "The work here is stable and I am paid a fair wage. I especially like drawing the designs."
