From poverty to plenty: the life-changing power of tea
Our latest appeal features Sahera. Sahera carries rocks at a construction site in Bangladesh; it’s back-breaking work which earns her only £1.30 a day, barely enough to feed herself and her young son once a day.
But there is hope - Traidcraft is working with people like Sahera, helping them to set up tea gardens and finally earn a decent living so that they have enough food, their children can go to school and hunger and struggle can become things of the past.
Please, give what you can today to give someone like Sahera the chance they need to become a tea grower and give their children a better future.
